Why? do I feel inclined to leave comments on [NIc Sheff, author of Tweak’s] blog when I know that a lot of the other commentors are only going to make fun of me and make rude jokes and silly, juvenile comments. Why do I think? Cause I guess I feel that maybe I’ll help someone. or that maybe….what I say is somewhat meaningful.
but…is this why I really leave comments???
I think there may be more to it…

I feel the same way Sandy. I wonder if the reason he is not posting is because of all the extra "stuff."
I agree with enigma, their are way to many crazies preaching 'fuckery' and total nonsense. I think the mean age of that blog is probably 20 years old. I like Nic and enjoy his blog therefore I try not to take the comments to seriously. There was one comment that really captured my heart. It was from Mihat Flewoff. It's obviously a pen name, but the writer really spoke to me and actually quoted from my blog site. It gave me the chills because the poster was an anon. I would like to think it was David or Nic Sheff, I know it was wishful thinking but I know his dad reads the comments. I had commented befor about David's book about China. I also said I wanted to have shex with David cause Nic is too young for me....... Oh dear god his dad read that! Aggggggh

Nicky is my friend. Thanks to you and all the rest who defend him. I will gladly show you (but only you, and you can spread the word) a picture his girlfriend took of us on Oct. 10th, so you can see for yourself he's okay. He's fine, just a bit sick of being "the poster child for addiction" (his words). Thank you

Amy, I would love to see a pic, but it is not necessary. I am sure all the crazy, psycho, religious stuff on the blog is why he is not on there. I am glad he found a gf that supports him and that is strong enough in his recovery to help his friend. I miss his blogs though, his words. They touched me in a way no author ever has, really makes me think. Msybe he will come back and blog some time.
